Hey guys and the ladies, I'm just about to move my gear down here from near Burrum Heads as I live in Brisbane and the 3hour+ commute for a sail is starting to get a bit long and was wondering where the sailable spots Wellington Point or Sandgate would be. I saw there is a bit of controversy around Wellington Point at the moment in regards to rigging and launching gear, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me where it is allowed to be done or even where people rig usually without problems. Something google-mappable would be fantastic.

Dont always pay attention to those that spend more time on seabreeze than using the seabreeze. The vast majority are out there sailing at controversial spots everyday.

I'm also adding this photo I found floating around my very messy desktop,
just because it's totally awesome (not mine):

Awesome, thanks for all the replies. I should be down there hopefully in the next couple of weeks after I get my gear organized. Next weekend we're up at cootharaba, trying out some flat water, wind permitting. Thanks again.
