I cannot go to Wello, still have no boots :( Those shells, stones, or whatever cut my feet all the time drive me nuts. I'd join you for VP or hc for the Grand. When do you intend to be on the water?

you prob won't need booties on the western side, well not as much and i figure there are lots that don't agree with me.

i just slow down before hoping off the gear. also in winter your feet go a little numb so it never really hurts until the next day.

i'm not sure where i'm going yet. currently showing SW winds. if that persists see the wello doctor.

if it swings S which i reckon it will as the day progresses and the land heats up then VP.

i'm thinking maybe wello this morning and VP this arvo>>>>>>?

I went to wello. it was dead calm and they've fenced the whole place off to construct something.What a crock of sh1t.......(west side)

Yeap! Those fences will be there for months to come and will move around to the Northern side to replace the rusted/ concrete wall and add a 3m wide path. Western side they are replacing the rock wall, doing something to the beach, adding a wide path and removing some car parks.

I went down after school today; thought I may as well walk out to King Island as the wind was non-eventful... Certainly relaxing... A kayak would've made it much nicer! Gee I sound like I'm getting old! [}:)]
