Are there any windsurfers in Port Douglas? If so, what's the sailing in and around Port Douglas like at this time of the year?
Know of Green Island further south but couldn't get accommodation.
Now trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle of taking a board with me.

There are a few in Port Douglas and some of the Cairns sailors go to PD sometimes. If you have the time it doesn't take long to drive to Cairns and go out to GI for a day.
