Hi guys/girls

My name is Stephen; I have been in Brisbane for a few months now, moved up form Wollongong NSW at the end of last year.

I am still quite new to windsurfing, only be doing it for just over a year.
I have been out a few times to Manly and Wellington Point. They are both good spots but I am keen to try some more.

More importantly, I want to know if there are any clubs or groups that go out on a regular basis. The club in Wollongong was great for this; going out with other people gives me that extra confidence to push myself further, especially in stronger winds.

I have seen a few people out on the water but wanted to find out where and when do most people go out. Unfortunately I work full time and can only go on the weekends.
Also I am just keen to meet some fellow windsurfers around Brisbane.

Cheers
Stephen

Sorry, I should have mentioned that.
At this stage I am still on flat water, I have an old mistral long board and recently bought my first short board (137L).

also not sure what B and J are?

Bump and jump you could try Victoria point in a SE'r in a high tide long runs with a speed strip at low tide quiet a long walk on a low tide water comes right into beach on a high tide or as I do you could head down to the gold coast to KFC in a NE'r and the train in a SE'r all these places have really flat water but the gold coast has the flatest water because there is so many sand banks.

Hi Stephen Royal Qld Yacht Squadron (rqys) at Manly has course racing every saturday during the season. Its mostly rsx and techno class but any board that can go around a course is welcome so your mistral would be fine.
