Hi, after about 15 years out of the sport, I have just acquired (but am yet to pick up) 2 sets of reasonably decent windsurf gear and am keen to get back into some windsurfing here on the Gold Coast.
I did all my windsurfing in Scotland and have done nothing in Australia to date so am looking for info on where best to go, who best to meet up with and what sort of wind conditions to look out for here on the Gold Coast.

I used to do mainly wave sailing back in the frigid waters of Scotland (full steamer suit with gloves boots and head gear) but understand that wind conditions are slightly different here on the coast and I will most likely be looking at flat water windsurfing. Anyone who can point me in the right direction or who knows of a regular meet and wouldn't mind having a Scottish tag along, please let me know.
