Keep your keys and cars locked up. Mine got broken into while parked just outside the yacht club at woody point. Suspects parked their silver commodore wagon really close to my car and then played ball with their 3 bulldogs in the sea before stealing phone/wallet/shoes/even boardshorts!. I came back from my surf to get a drink to find my car wide open and not much left inside.

Keep a lookout for your own goods.

Hey Anton, just a thought that maybe the Woody Point web cam may have some recorded images that show the deed in action ?

When the cops arrived i told them about the webcam that overlooks the carpark. He said he was going to look into it, to see if the yacht club saves the pictures that are taken every 4 minutes. If they do save them the guys car will be seen right near mine as it is parked in view of the webcam. But better news! the cops have a strong lead as to who it might be, they have been keeping in touch with the progress. I was really surprised to be woken up at 7 AM the next day to an officer wanting to dust my car for prints!? Never thought they would give a s*#t about it...

That sounds encouraging, that action is being taken.
