Launch from the end of Phillip St. Nice grassy area for rigging that is sheltered from the wind. On a low tide you have a bit of a walk but it is still very sailable. Sandy bottom with no rocks or obstacles to bump in to. Clean wind and great ramps. Very long runs and the ramps just keep getting bigger! Safe sailing as you are never too far off shore, and if you do get into trouble you will just get blown back in. Also no major shore break as the bottom has a low gradient so it is not too daunting if you have only ever sailed in flat water. I have only been there once but it is arguably the best place I have sailed in SE Qld. Cant speak highly enough about the place

I would join you but I am still recovering from the last time I sailed there... 5 weeks ago!

Switch - it's a great place, pretty much hazard free and super good for jumping and backside riding.

We may head up for an early session Saturday, but Currimbin is looking super tempting so that's looking like a winner for Sunday.

Also all you freestyle lovers - beachmere is pretty much dead flat between the waves, so is great for sliding tricks as well.

Where ever you are, the weekend looks pretty good!!!

Please don't mention the "C" word. We don't want to jinx it. She has been ever so temperamental lately.

Worst thing was chasing down those boats to hit the wake as close as possible to the stern for some airtime only to see the trolling lines at the last second.

We're heading up there this morning. Hopefully the 4.5m isn't too big
