Hi all
Just got out on the new board in 15-20 using a 5.4 . Straight up it pops onto the plane with one or two pumps and settles straight down into a good fast pace upwind. I found the deck pads very comfortable and gave really good feedback about what the board was doing and also provided a good angle of extra padding that seems to support your ankles really welll.

Blasting on the board was so much fun and gybing is absolutely ridiculous with it cutting the tightest arcs I've ever done on a single fin. Throwing big lay downs is just easy and the board just fills you with total confidence to try anything of any lump. I can safely say that this board is the most fun I ever had on the water and would seriously consider having it as a one board quiver it's just that good

Sounds very similar to my experience with the 2014 3S 86. Best board I've owned.

If the 86 is anything like the 96 you would have to be happy. I'm looking forward to some 20-25 conditions now with a bit of swell to really get into it

You can add the 106 to that list as well. Freaky tail cut outs, but turns amazingly well for a board that size. Took it out in the NW of WA when it was only blowing about 15knts with a 5.6 on it and the stock 32cm fin. I thought it was going to turn like a pig, but snuck under a few lips and came of the top really nicely. Amazing light wind board.
As for the 2014 pocket 85, loving it, but won't hijack the 3S thread.

I've got a 96 3S 2013 - its just a fun board, great all rounder, I've had it in reasonable surf too, head to logo goes really well. I use a more wavey fin on it for the waves, makes a real difference
