The smaller sizes are well reviewed but I saw on the Goya website that the 104 L and 114 L have 1 cm less rocker than the smaller sizes. I am curious to hear feedback as there is a 114 L available for sale for a good price.

1cm is a lot. Where is this - not just in tail? I'd be very interested to know also

From the website:

XL sizes (104 & 114): Ideal for float and ride mode or for ultimate speed and low end with almost 1cm less of tail release than the smaller siblings, the 104 and 114 carry the agility of the smaller sizes into the XXL range.

So the big guys boards are faster and better low end due to less tail rocker........... but still have the agility of the small sizes. Marketing w^nk.

Thanks Mark. I hope it's not completely rubbish, I pulled the trigger due to the attractive price.

I have the 114 liter 2020/21 Goya C4. I've heard that in the smaller sizes there were significant differences between the 20/21 boards and 22/23 sizes, but not sure about the bigger ones. I do think the rocker is pretty flat for a waveboard. It isn't as fast a FSW might be, but still fun for bump and jump and way better for the small crappy waves we usually get here. I use mine in light wind and small onshore waves with a 6.3 Goya Eclipse and really enjoy it. Is fine with a 5.7 Banzai, but I prefer to get on a smaller board (also a quad, different brand) if blowing consistently enough. First few waves in this video are on the 114 C4 with a 5.7 Banzai (

I had the 23 Quad 104 being 94 kgs.
I found it did plane comparable to my former 21 Thruster 98 and had about the same agility, hiding the 6 Liters more. What stood out was the smooth ride through choppy conditions due to the huge V in the bottom.
My recent 25 Quad 104 is a different animal thoug. Being much more compact and agile it feels not like float and ride but more like a big guy allround waveboard.
