What are the physical changes compared to the Gen 2?

only have the 4.2 Wave in both Gen2 and Gen3, so i did a shape comparison overlaying the sails (didn't weigh them as it's kinda pointless).
from what i can tell, apart from the larger window, the physical differences are minimal:
the luff sleeve is a centimetre or so wider above the boom cutout and the clew grommet has been lowered by ~2cm.

rigging is a bit different. seems to need a touch less downhaul. the area below the boom has notably more shape, with the foot batten overlapping the boom a bit more.
have not sailed it yet…

If I remember correctly, the video linked above said there are no shape changes in the newest version. Just some material changes.

Hi, Regarding the Gen 3 wave sail I tested at the Lake, it’s a completely different animal compared to the Gen 1 and Gen 2. The most noticeable change is the handling: the center of effort feels locked in the middle, much more centered than before. It also has this incredible, out of the ordinary lightness in the hands I used it in both light and strong wind, and it just feels super balanced the whole time.
The 4.7 requires a bit more attention when it comes to trim. It uses a 370 mast with a 30cm extension, but you need to downhaul it to no more than 29cm as indicated. This leaves some space between the extension pulley and the sail's tack pulley. The outhaul adjustment on the boom also has a wider range to play with.
