Ive had one of these for about 6 months now and I would advise don't but one!

The head on these booms is crap

- slips on the mast, even when tightened to the max.
- Head bolts come loose and pop apart
- overall quality in the shop looked good but that quickly changed.

Will be going back to Chinook or Aeron next time

Boom slips and bolts undone. ME TOO!!! Not real easy to get the bolt done up again either.

I've got a carbon 160-220 prolimit boom. I replaced the head with a aeron boom head. It's heaps better. The boom tail end clips tended to chew the sail out as they have a sharp edge. i have since put some aeron clips on it and it is unreal.

Your right, its bloody hard to put the bolt back together when at the beach.

Its just very disappointing when it dosent work as it should!!

I spoke with the company and they suggested I put some tape on the mast or wedge some rubber between the boom and the mast to stop it slipping.
What a JOKE!
Will never buy another Prolimit Product again.
