Saw the 2027 production 83 Pyro, S-1, Blade and Blade pro last night.

Gen3? Pyro has been nicely tweaked and tidied up from the prototypes. Simple red+fluro orange graphics. I want one.

Both Blade types were rigged and set very differently to my 2-3yr old blade pros. All the sails were bloody light fully rigged. The Pro is looking far more adventurous this year with a mix of old+new materials that give them a new visual. S-1 looked as good as ever.

Can't wait for the season to hit, had enough of this winter. Thanks to Severne for the beer and hotdog!

I filmed Ben a couple of months ago using a 2027 5.6 S1. Don't remember if it was a standard or pro.

Severne is also now producing a new Enigma boom size: 130-170. Previously 140 was the smallest size.

Interesting, the previous boom sizes were already quite close together, 140-190 and 150-200. Would be a good upgrade if it's even lighter in that new size (another 100g lighter?).

not sure about the need for an ultra small carbon boom but I would love to see wider ends for all wave booms, especially the 140.
The 150 is close to the Aeron booms but the 140 is simply too narrow for sails 4.5 and up. Looking at the 2026 blade with a longer boom it would be great to see the related equipment corresponding to it.
That being said, I do have the Pyro 87 on order and should arrive in the next days/week 😎

The shorter booms are great for ladies and the pro kids who are on severne redbacks.

nice video!
the sail does look better on the videos than in the heavily pixelated advance images the brand sent out.
based on those, this appears to be the pro version.

or some folk who like to have the smallest possible boom body (i know a few of them)…
…moi, i prefer to have the extra body length for stiffness on most booms.

you're not likely to see that this go-around.
