Severne Gator or Blade 4.5 in strong wind and choppy water. Which one handles the most wind and is the most stable? I like that the Gator works with a 400 mast

Blade. Haven't used a Gator in that size, but can't imagine it beats my Blade 4.5. If you downhaul it with plenty of loose leach, I wouldn't think any other sail is easier to control.

Sounds good. What model do you have? The blade I'm considering is a 2022 model and has barely been used.

22 is a good model with the newer materials.Year before they got rid of the dacron luff which they have now gone back to in latest version.

I'm using '22s and 23's fwiw, both great sails. I like the luff material of the '22 over '23, gives even more range.
