No review just yet, I only picked up the board today, but stay tuned.

I hope to get it on the water next week and will post a proper rundown then.

I'm hoping it performs in the same way as my Mega 73 and Mega 63 boards, but with the improved light wind performance you get from 85cm width and 148 litres volume.

In the mean time, here are some pics of the board

Hi! Thanks for posting pictures of this beauty! I also have the 63/73 and I’m considering getting the 85.
Just curious, does it have a Deep Tuttle box or a foil box? Online it says Tuttle box, but that seems a bit odd for such a wide board.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve tried it!

The 85 has a deep Tuttle box.

The only drama with that so far is that I need to use some longer bolts to use with my standard Tuttle fins.

A shame because the Severne bolts are great with their hex socket heads.

I had some spare Phillips head bolts already but I will get some hex socket ones so I can keep using the 'easy to use' Severne allen key for all my boards

The machine screws and washers and are easy. Either surfsailaustralia or boltandnut com au

For the nylon washers, go to Bunnings, and buy a packet of tap valves. Remove the valve seals, and use them as washers. These seals work better when they are used. When I do my tapes, I keep these seals.
