[x-posted from SA Kitesurfing]

So with the Clayton Bay regulator built and pumping from Lake Alexandrina, the Goolwa-Clayton Channel has water in it again.

This means that many of the river hazards that were once high and dry are now becoming submerged again, many of which are extremely dangerous.

Here's the story of a quad biker who ran into a fence and almost got decapitated. That fence is probably just below the surface.

Be careful!

Places like Goolwa and Milang[if the water ever returns there] will benefit greatly from the low levels from the point of a enormous amount of debris [hazards to us] have been cleaned up as has been reported in the media. If spots like bogey were to be sail-able again the laws regarding fences into the lake are another story.

Hi pirrad,

Goolwa is full of water. Don't know how long for but it is full at the moment.
