Hi everyone,
WindSup and 6 enthusiastic intermediate type windsurfers are all heading to Pt Broughton this weekend for a flat water sail on Sat and Sun.
We are all staying at the Caravan Park and anyone else is more than welcome to join us for a night and a sail on either day.
PM me if your keen

Hi Pirrad,
We will mostly sail out the front of the caravan park. The tide looks as though there will be waist hight water or a bit more for most of the day. We are staying there and will be super keen to leave gear rigged and on the lawn overnight. We will prob go and have a look at fishermans bay but some of the crew will be testing there ability so prob will be needing a few walks upwind. The channel behind the sandbar is off shore if I remember right?
Just give me a TXT anyway if you are thinking of coming. 0417858641

i would be keen to try one of my bigger sails on a SUP if the wind is light,
could that be an option ?

I plan to head up there early tomorrow morning with big gear. If it's too light, I'll grab one of Matt's SUP boards and explore the estuary.

Thanks to all who came and visited us over the weekend. Pt Broughton Caravan park is a very convienent location. All gear can be stored overnight rigged on site and only a short walk down the street for supplies. The sailing location is flat water waist to chest high on the best bits of the tide and it gives you about 5 hrs of sailing a day. It was perfect!!!!
Many blisters and catapults later we now have 5 new windsurfing addicts to add to our comunity. Congratulations to them.
I will post some photos later this week.

Sorry I couldn't make this trip Matt. Sounds like a good venue. Great job spreading the stoke!
