A great day sailing yesterday, 12 sailors hitting the water later in the afternoon, after a cool SUP in the morning. Surf was 1-2 foot, and in keeping with the Easter spirit and it being good Friday there was lots of holy wind, which filled in nicely to a steady 20 knots cross off SE!
The kiters were there in good numbers, boosting and flicky spinny tricks, they cook a mean bacon and eggs too. sailing with the highly strung members of the wind community was awesome, with lots of hooting and carry on in the water, as both windsurfers and kiters egged each other on.
today the forecast is looking a little lighter, but let's see what the day provides later, a small wave is coming in at third ramp,
A good day surfing today, not a Lot of wind, just a puff later in the day for a few crew to get a floaty ride. Kiters did a downwinder, heres hoping for a stiffer breeze tomorrow (and a foot or two more swell would be good too)
