Hi guys,

By the looks of it there is some wind on the way for the coming weekend...anybody coming over to Robe or beachport to do some sailing? Adelaide/ Seaford/ sellick crew, fancy a drive?

Cheers,
Niels

I'm heading to Mt Gambier for the weekend and will most likely have Sunday free but might be available for Saturday.

I can only take one option either SUP or windsurfing kit. Reasonably competent sailor but only beginner to intermediate level SUP'r with Starboard Widepoint board 8'2" board.

Any thoughts as to what would be my best option for Sunday down that way whether it be at Robe, Beachport or Port MacDonnell.

Thanks

Shane

Reasonably ??. You're very modest Shane. I'm tipping you as the winner for the summer slalom race.

Good to hear i will likely not be sailing alone!

Is pebbles somewhere inside the bay of beachport? I haven't sailed beachport before, but luckily Google maps is of great help. Allthough i am still a bit puzzled by the 4 wind directions forecasted on friday :).

Pebbles is near port macdonnell.
Requires a bit of local knowledge about this spot with launching and getting to the break from the main roads.
Look at cape douglas on Google.
Pm me if your about the place

OK thanks!

I am traveling with my girfriend and daughter, I think I will have to make the best out of beachport since it's a 1,5 drive from beachport. At home I do drive sometimes 10 hours for a good session, but with family around staying in the same camper van it's a bit more complicated :).

Hope to see you on saturday or sunday!

Pebbles was a foot short off firing so the Valley it was.
Cross off and the odd lump in the rain.
Bring on summer and a few more sessions to dial in on port tack again.
