Just wondering if crew are keen to get some plans together for winter - be good to have a calendar of events with the poss of a state titles. 2-3 events + states. If conditions are fun - make it social - if conditions really good more competitive - short heats and a final

We will Need to call a windsurfing SA general meeting at some stage to look at membership etc as well. i am sure we could get it up and running - anyone keen or do we just all go sailing - I miss the beers and sausage sizzle

Any thoughts or willing organisers / comp committee volunteers

Hi Russ,

I'm keen. I need to call a Windsurfing SA AGM pretty soon. I'll put it on the front burner.

Cheers, Richard

Summer sucks! Had more sailing this year than last 10... Bit low on Robe trips so far but apart from that pretty epic!

Really keen to be more involved this year. Learned a lot from last year and keen to help and compete. The vid I put up 2 weeks ago is from comp day at Middleton. Reminds me how good it can be when it does work!

Actually down south has had good waves yes waves those things that were talking about and good days of wind most weeks over summer - no complaints from me - just need to be there at the right time

If we wanted a flat bump and jump series we would run it at semaphore over summer - no matter how windy it is up north I'd rather 12 -15knts and good waves than 25 knts of chop - but thats why winter rocks down here - 25 knts and good waves - just depends on what your into

Maybe we could have a special comp in July for those in man-kinis

Instead of coloured rashies - use coloured mankinis

And getting back to the original argument, id rather drve south an hour and get a decent sail, the flatwater gets very boring....

Sailing in waves is awesome but rare this time of year. I drive for over an hour just to sail semaphore because it has a predictable sea breeze and the occasional decent ramp. I'd much rather sail the mid coast or sellicks but if there's no swell there's no point. Tomorrow looks good though

Actually I think its time retract this - I was keen to get something happening but after the last weeks bitching and moaning I really can't be bothered anymore

Go for it Geoff and James - good luck

See you on the water and enjoy yourselves wherever your sailing - cause I know I will be.
