Just went for a look at seacliff, plenty of whitecaps. About 15-20 at the moment, might shape up to a good seabreeze if the clouds don't kill it early. Heading down now with Vikki.

Yes, that was a surprise. I had two birthdays to go to today and I still managed to get to Sems for a 5pm sail :)

WOW that was unexpected.

Sailed powered up on 80L Twinnie and a 5.3 till seven when the dreaded SE'er killed it.

Three hours of Monday night sailing, Loved it..

I had a go on Chris's new JP quad, it felt a little crisper than the twinnie but we both agreed Bump and Jump wise there wasn't much difference between the two fin setups

Yeah, it sure was . I sailed again today (Sem's). I had no intention.. but I saw the graph at lunch time and got excited. First real sail on my new JP 85L FSW board. It was pretty good . I did my first strap-to-strap gybe out the back (but no planing exits) so I'm very stoked about that. Bending the knees more, sheeting in and gybing on a chop/wave is definitely the progression step I haven't been doing.

could have sailed U-s last night at 5 but the swell was pretty miserable waist hi sets - would have madfe for a few nice jumps on the way out at least.

Might have a bit of a go down at brighton/seacliff yacht club this arvo.

Test out my new Dakine Harness if there is enough wind!

Went down to seacliff at 2ish... about 6 kts... got up to around 8kts so a real beginner day. Nice calm water too so it was good to just putt around and have a look at the bottom through the clear water.... would rather be planing!

Good on ya Luke. That was a really fun condition when I was first learning. It's a good chance to start practicing your gybes.
