I'm a tourist frond Holland and will go to Kangaroo Island next week. I need advice of you locals. I'll take my now gear with me and are looking for nice waves. The forecast for mid/end of next week looks good. Anybody a suggestion for windsurfspots on KI? Forecast is north west and west.

Vivonne bay may be worth a look I've sailed it in a wsw but wnw would be better cross off - and was good fun - not sure about sailing any where else possibly a few spots on north coast - enjoy its a lovely place

Couple of nice looking bombies around destrees bay. Would feel pretty (big fishy) sailing them by yourself though

Much of the island is surrounded by high cliffs, but I've sailed Vivonne a few times.

Yes and definitely don't feed the wildlife!

I decided not to sail because it is difficult to find the right spot at the right time and it is a big island so you need a lot of time. Vivonne bay and Pennington bay look really nice with sweat bombies. KI is better suited for surfing than windsurfing. We enjoyed the amazing wildlife and nature of this beautiful island.
