hey everyone,

10 months, 4 year 12 exams, 7 cars later - and i'm finally back!

some may or may not know me, but i have been really into my windsurfing until these past 12 months where year 12 has taken its hit and i went into hibernation. Anyway very pleased to have had my last exam on monday and the plan is to dust off all the windsurfing gear (which hasen't been looked at since JAN) and bring it out for a spin ASAP. Firstly ill be heading up to the yorke peninsula to work on the farm for a couple months over harvest - but the plan is to come back from that ready to roll .

Just thought ide touch base through seabreeze and will have to get back into checking it as i used to. Bit out of touch with things though. Crew, boggy lake (1 & 2)???, Goolwa??? might need someone to fill me in.

But yeah nah will be good to get back on the scene, really missed heading out... catch ya all round some time soon hopefully.

Cheers
Bubs

Welcome Back Bubs!!!

Great to hear your exams are out of the way and you can let your hair down.

You can now sail anywhere at Goolwa and Boogy 1. Enjoy working those sailing muscles again.

Bubs, on my way round Aus, and probably in SA some time December/Jan. If you guys from the SA GPSTC team are out and about, will catch up then.
Welcome back big fulla
You wont forget a thing, couple sessions and you will be right there. I spent last 12 months re-hab after spiral fracture lower left leg Just getting back into the gear now. It comes back real quick, rusty, but its still there.

for sure mate catch ya when your around here. Worst thing is i have to wait a bit until we've finished harvest at the uncles farm. But yeah some stage in JAN ill be around again.

Dave, i know own one corona which i bought for 400 bucks just to have some fun in, not really fit for street use any more. I have also acquired another 4 TA22 celica's like mine. The 5 of them range for the stock 1.6L motor to a lovely 3.5 rover V8, and another 2L twin spark turbo which will put out more than an SS commodore in a car that weighs less than a ton - allows for some fun. Bit of a hobby these days building cars up and racing them . always great fun so yeah work windsurfing in around that.

But yeah absolutely busting to get back out there.

Hi Dave & Bubs,
Sailed Goolwa today with a 57 S10 and didn't get any weed, the beds are really defined and you dont sail closer than 10m.
Maybe I was just lucky...

Hi Bubs. Welcome back :)

All: Do you need a weed fin at Milang ?. I'm thinking of sailing there Saturday if we get that prevailing SE.

yes the bed's are defined but the boats cut up a lot of weed and depending on the direction, there can be a lot of floating weed.. not so good on a busy weekend !
