Did you end up going to that UAV presentation Geoff ?

While this tech is maturing (and getting cheaper), I reckon stick to what you're good at doing and pay an UAV operator. If you half/quarter the bill with mates, the bill will end up costing a carton of JD's. There are lots of engineers and pilots with aeronautical backgrounds pouring into this new industry (so not just that guy you saw at the presentation if you went). Their rates will get cheaper as time goes by and their equipment will do more stuff. Windsurfing is complicated enough I reckon and me personally, when I get to the beach, I just want a sail. Filming is 2nd priority.
