Well, it looks like we have cracked the formula for making the wind blow - schedule an event that actually needs light winds!
I've been watching the predictions for this big front, and it looks like we will all be having fun on Friday and Saturday. The predictions for Sunday morning suggest that there will be a big chop and swell carrying over from the front, with 15 k SSW and I suspect a good chance of a seabreeze. More short board fun and totally not what I had in mind for the Longboard Festival

I will be on the beach at Seacliff with a blue and white dinghy at 9am on Sunday. If anyone turns up with a longboard, we can set a buoy or two depending on the conditions and carry on with the plan. But if everyone decides to leave the longboards on the roof and go short-boarding, I'm right behind you

.
Regardless, I might try and get a buoy out on the water for some gybe practice and a few videos if anyone is interested.
