Dear all,

I'm new to Australia (from Spain), is anyone planning to go windsurfing during the next 2 weeks? (school break).
On windy weekends I have been driving to some spots and was surprised to find no one in the water. Maybe I was going to the wrong places, or it was too cold?
I'd be very grateful if anyone can give me some pointers, I don't want to go out on the water all by myself.

Many thanks

Hi there - try this link - it will give you an idea of locations and wind. Its a bit old and some spots aren't sailed very often
Small windsurf crew and usually spread out from Northern beaches to south coast

www.windsurfing.org/sa_beaches_metro.htm - other locations are linked - look at Google Maps

Been plenty of sailing this week and lots on the water - forecast is a bit ordinary for the next week though

See you on the water

Cheers

There's also a facebook group, South Aussie Windsurfers. You could post on there when you're thinking on heading out and people may join you or make suggestions where to go. I also new to Adelaide and try to get out as much as I can.
