Northerlies at North Haven.

Flat water and slightly warmer than a southerly at this time of year.

All wind may be a bit gusty so watch out for incoming squalls as it will go from 15-35 in the span of a bout a minute.

Just wait for wind, go down to the local spots and if people are out, give it a go.

If no one is out, then there may be a reason for it.

You can always go to Westlakes and practise tacking/gybing too!

If you are still learing, anything that is onshore.

Winter usually only has the frontal systems to rely on, usually southerly or South West, but you can get the cheeky Northerly session from time to time,

Seabreezes are a summer thing

Shane. North Haven is very fickle on a Northerly. When it works (usually in the morning), it's very flat, protected, warm, sunny, and lots of people on the water. It's a good place to learn. It's land wind, so it's gusty and weaker than black pole reading. I'll probably see you there

Northerly is usually better/stronger on the mid, would want those water starts going before heading out on any Mid coast beach.
