Have you lost a GT31

This one has no username settings in it.

I just charged it up and it has no card in it, a work colleague son found it so we are looking for the owner. (and a reward)

If you can tell me where you lost it (this is not a competition) it will find it's way home to you.

P.S it was not found in Snake River.

Funny how a GT31 find it's way to a member of the GPS Challanged team.

Cheers Russ

I think it could be AMAC from ka sails??

The wierd tracks would be the moth sailing he is into like Robby Gough?

Steve is that when we got the weight jackets?? because he was in Tassie then.

At a stretch maybe 40 km/h max but not 46knots (85km/h). Any wave travelling at that speed is either going to turn up on your doorstep 20metres above sea level on Boxing Day.

Could it be Robbie Goughs? He sails out off the Sandy Bay Rowing Club with his Foiler Moth and trains in VIC with AMAC. He also has a 50L speed board and 5.6m speed sail, so may have been doing some training on the quiet!! He has a heap of different GPS's, but I didn't think he had a GT31, unless he got it recently.

I can ask him?

Good work Dave,

It looks at least 12 months old but a few weeks in the water could do that.

I have sent a email to AMAC but no response yet?

So Dave, when can I open the champagne to celebrate the gps team challenge result No 1 in the world!!!!

cheers Russ

p.s on the GPS lost, Could it be Andrew Barranger making a comeback? I miss sailing on the water with him. Andrew was on Sailworks me KA those were the days.

He was super competitive as well, heaps of fun to drag race.

We all sailed pretty fast then wish we had GPS back in the day. How much faster do we think we are today?

I got in touch with Rob Gough and he reckons it will be AMAC's (he'll check). We can drop it in to Rob to pass back, or send direct Russ.
