With the weather getting a warmer we are starting to get enquires about learning to windsurf.
Luckily Tasmanian's have a few options .
Sandy Bay Sailing Club have learner boards and qualified instructors that can help out- contact SBSC.
ALSO Windsurfing Tasmania have a learner boards, rigs ( including kids rig) that can be taken out for a week or two once social membership is paid and a small fee to maintain the boards/rigs. Please PM me and i will hook you up with the learner boards.
Local retailers have learner board packages available throughout the season

There are a couple of planned learner days at yacht clubs in the South this year Damo that we know of. WT will support sailing club learner days with loans of the WT boards and a helping hand where we can.

The WT calendar will have a learner day in the North in January (calendar just being finalised).

Marty Jack is the committee representative for the learner boards again this year. We have set up a board hire part on TidyHQ to allow cashless payment and automatic membership (yet to be tested).

Cheers,
Mort

Sounds good Mort.
The windsurfer LT mob are also likely to sail at a few prominent Hobart locations over the summer and are likely to help facilitate a few informal learner days. Dates to be confirmed.
