I checked out the two at the mornington tip shop, they are completely ....
good for target practice as they are allready full of holes.
There is a guy down here who deals in old windsurfer bits,, he might have one , if you want his number pm me .

My father still has his TC Runner (which I learnt on in the early eighties after it replaced his Windrush). I still get it out on the water every 3 years or so and it sails just fine. I think it's still got the original sail, but I broke the mast and boom (several times over).

The mast foot has been slightly modified (by me) so that I can use it with a normal (i.e., non-Ten-Cate) mast.

If you're interested, I can ask him if he wants to part with it. Chances are, "yes", because he's selling his house, and is getting too old to sail any more.

Feel free to email me at nixanz(at)nixanz(dot)com (I don't check these forums frequently).

(PS. This is at Rosevears.)

PPS. Does anybody miss the old foot-operated retractable centre boards? Back in the day, they were such a convenience compared to the completely removable, hang 'em-from-your-wrist-whilst-sailing, daggerboards in the Windsurfer One Design.

I don't miss retractable daggerboards, as most of my boards have them.

Daggerboards are highly underrated.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've brought a TC Runner.
