Although the event is cancelled I might still go to Marrawah for a sail or two this weekend.
Conditions are looking a bit marginal, but given the fact that the event is cancelled, it is quite probable that the conditions will be better than expected .
Should be a good SW on Saturday afternoon, bit lighter SW on Sunday and a good S on Monday. Waves probably up to head high all days, maybe a bit bigger on Saturday.

Anyone else there for the weekend or thinking about going?

Classic cross off wind with logo high smoth faced waves provided long flowing rides and the occasional air. It was lapped up by Jimo, Appleman and Relic yesterday for an epic three hours at Green's Beach.
So good in fact it was decided to run our own unofficial competition. Tappo judged and photographed, assisted by local Marrawah local Simbo. All three riders were hard to separate on the first day of competition resulting in a three way dead heat.
Today we'll see similar conditions for the cliff hanger sail off with the prize pool of rare merkins up for grabs.
Photos of the two day's battle will be published soon.
