Tempting. Wind looks to be swinging more north westerly later in the arvo 20-25 knots. Could be cross-off for Carlton? Sketchy?

North west is the better direction for waveriding, west is better for jumping.

Thinking mega jumps session this Friday up the north coast. Strong west after a couple days of NW should see some good swell.

Well after Carlton fissed today went back to the Pitwater causeway and had another excellent slalom sail. Great speed runs being close up to the causeway in flat water. Hopefully the boom gate that gives access to this location stays open as it provides another option especially when it's NNW which just does not cut the mustard at Carlton. Maybe Carlton tomorrow with the forecast for 25 knots NW In the arvo.

.Craker, hope British Petroleum, gives you leave time , will check local haunts, and post for all mainlanders, so that no time is wasted, looking at bom weather sites, unfortunately its very hard to sail in the dark. Bring on some day time wind.

No worries about time off from my new employer appleman - only do 4 morning shifts per week = 3 days off and every afternoon off to do what ever I like - now that what TTR (transition to retirement) is all about. Plus my new office overlooks Ralph's Bay - shame about the no mobile phone policy whilst on shift so no posts until I finish. Hoping today produces so keep us up to date on your findings.

Hey Cracker reckon you have a great spot for wind machine or camera on top of the BP sign - perhaps you could slip one up there before boss gets in one morning

What a great idea - the boss is my brother in law so I will just tell him we are going to do it and every windsurfer will fill up at his station

It's a dispute about Olympic Committee restrictions on length & style for synchronised swimmers
