Steve ,
In Carbon?,
no one in Tassie, in fact not even on mainland anymore.
There are a few in Tassie who have made their own and a few on mainland who have made customs for customers .
There are a couple who make in polyester not epoxy ( Stone surf design WA) ..
Nick stranger who used to make all the Island Energy boards still produces surfboards in his factory in Rokeby.

OES Custom surfboards in SA. From all accounts he makes beautifully built boards.
I'm not aware of anyone in Tasmania who uses modern composite construction. A good Starting point may be Leigh Steven 55 South Arm Rd.

Or go modern production ,
Like the malibu customs - pay $2000 when you can get a very good production board for $1400
Also Sailboards in particular have very poor resale if custom.

Thanks for the thoughts and info - might have to rethink. Was hoping to get an idea of how doable this might be from someone local - resale would not be an issue as I doubt anyone else would be seen dead on it! - but I love if for non-planing messing with bumps etc days. It weighs a ton though.
