Yep, Third Channel should be good. Anything from WNW to SW would do the trick in the southern section. Not nearly as long a run as the eastern bank in easterlies. The western bank disappears with the tide an hour or so quicker than the east side. But its more or less in the same shape its been for the past 12 months or so. Tides a bit lower than they have been for a couple of weeks, which is ideal. Second Channel is also doable, but is a bit shallow in places, particularly the middle section.
