What happened? Where was everyone?

Greens Beach...everyone remembers Greens Beach? It's at the end of the West Tamar Highway, and is the place to sail in anything from WNW through N, to ENE, especially when it is off the show, like today...

Sad times, sad times.

I had a crack in the bay at Port Sorell today. Beginners waves and a wavesailing kindergarten, but good fun for a bit of wave and flat water in between ramps in a NE. A few PB's for jumps landed, and a few not landed. Need something a bit smaller than the 100L FSW and 5.0m for these conditions, I spent a lot of time trying to stop the board from being blown away!

Mort 67 - I think you have hit the nail on the head - <100l and <5.0m. would have been a better formula. I had a 4.2m sail up, and pulled down to the max, and was on a 66 litre board, and I had to work hard to keep those under control.

Ant-Man - I am not moaning. I am quite happy to have the beach to myself, especially on a warm, wet Sunday with plenty of wind and long waves, but what has happened to windsurfing in the north?
