would be good to get the northern guys a little more organised to sail together as summer approaches...

on my reckoning there is a southerly change going to pass through bakers real early on sun morning, this would take a bit of dedication as im talking 5-6 am, but if anyone is keen, maybe i can be stuffed

December weekends are always a bit tough for me, particularly when I have already used up my leave pass mid week. January is usually a bit easier with less work issues. Also the weather has been pretty average on the weekend for the last few weeks. There are a few others with wave gear up here Jason, Micheal, Paul and a few others but work and weather has been conspiring against geting everyone on the water at once. Jason and I sailed Bakers yesterday and Klaus the german dude (who was in Marrawah last January) is back in Tassi. He is going to be based at Marrawah for a couple of weeks I think and will be sailing around there and at Stanley.

sailed Bell buoys Sunday, classic bell buoys, 25-30 kn, nice and constant, cross on, but out of the west so you could chug down the line in a pinch. big kickers out the back and no bark floating in the water (yet)

Damn, I had to work, I hate working on (windy) Sundays. That wind looked like it was nice and steady from the west.
