Just when you thought it wasn't happening!
6 week delay, and it's not a Summer Road Trip anymore, but the team will be in the hands of the forecasts in just under 4 weeks!!

Computer models, apps, websites galore, wanna be weathermen - eyes will be peeled for days - ultimately deciding, every moment we're not on the water, where we think we'll get the best wind. :-)

Driving Thursday 21st March from ~4pm to hopefully our Day 1 location - decision to be made around 3:59pm same day.

Everyone is welcome to join us - several years the Road Trip has seen ~10-12 with us. New anthem song?

Yeehah! Hope to see you on the road. Last year's stubbie holder is still treasured.

Kickoff today!
Final destination confirmed 3:59 today, but at this stage we're going to Bridport tonight to look at Little Musselroe Bay Friday!

Day 1 change of plans.
Not sure why after 6 years we'd think day 1 should be anywhere other than Stanley for the best wind.
Bridport was a great warm up, my head hurts.
Musselroe is going to have to wait.

Cookies run is getting a go on Day 2
bit of nervous energy around as the storm hits us with large raindrops but plenty of wind.

Yep, a nautical mile run from the pic above in towards Miffton. The soft sand was a bit hairy off 7 mile beach, but all good in the end. Rained the whole time, but good fun

Swan River last year, Duck River (bay) this year. Is there a Goose River for next year?

Road trip over for another year. Short and very sweet.
But a bitter finish for me wrecking a shoulder in the shalllows back at East Beach catching the last of the low tide.
Hate sailing in winter anyway

Thanks to the boys for bringing me home.
