The forecast looks good (15-25 S) from lunch onwards. It's the last chance for the February gps results. 106km and a 20knot 1 hour would get us into 3rd place (from 7th) and halve our score from 56 to 28..... (Not that I can do much for this, but just putting it out there ).

I started work at 5am this morning so I can knock off early and get into it. Depending how it looks I might just go from work (at Taroona) as driving to Cremorne decreases my sailing time by an hour. I've been keen to try for a good 1 hour, and I figure going across from here I might only have to do half a dozen waterstarts ... er, I mean jibes ... in an hour.

I need at least two people to 'help' me as there's no way I can do a 20knot 1 hour! If the wind gets and stays good and I can get away from work early enough I might be able to deliver on the 106km.

Oh and don't forget it's a leap year (29th tomorrow) -- and it looks like you might have some wind up north tomorrow.

If it's good at Sandy Bay I'll should be able to get out this arvo for an hour.
