Wednesday: Northwest winds 20 to 30 knots ahead of a 25 to 35 knot southwest
change in the early afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 metres rising to 3 to 5 metres.
Southwest swell building to 4 metres.

Yer I’ll flex off work and try and get a sail in about 2.30pm if it’s any good. Do you think the lagoon could be ok? No waves for me haha

Jez, wrong direction for the lagoon, dorans should be cranking with that forecast, i might head off to sandpits and give that a try

Tomorrow is still looking epic, it'll be bloody cold but i'm going to give Sandpits a crack, if anyone wants a drive and not a sail it would be good to have someone on the beach is case, or more to the point when i get drilled. Not that anyone would care or be able to do anything about it.

To the crew up here in the north and others looking really good here now at port sorell with it showing 23-27 knots WSW with other sites showing more...low tide at 2pm, Jordan and i will be out and keen.

I might try to get out for a sail at Doran's in the afternoon. Maybe go for a 1 hr if anyone else is keen?

hi darb,
most of us sail at port sorell in the bay on high tide and sail the sand bar at low tide.....me and a mate were out today at around 12-2pm was not the best sail but was not bad.we are looking at getting out tomorrow and friday if your about.because were slalom/speed guys we might wait till low tide tomorrow but see what happens.if you see us on the water say hello.on a week end we can have a far few guys out.

We got stuff all down here, I finally got out had two runs at 7 degrees, too bloody cold and getting dark. Jez and another guy got out ealier but said it was gusty and all over the place, maybe more luck in the next couple of days
