I'll be hitting Dorans for an after work sail. Hopefully it stays in.

Hey Kazza. I'm up for a sail but not sure where. The arm beaches all look promising, but wind might be a touch offshore? Park was another option. Also Dorans and Mortimer. BoM observations are all over the place at the moment. Hobart and airport were both showing easterly winds a short time ago?? It was meant to blow 25+ westerly! Anyway, it's light now, but is meant to be 20+ WSW for pretty much all day. Suspect I'll head out about 2pm for a look. Hamish was keen for a sail too I believe.

Have checked BoM obs. Hobart looks a little iffy (which is understandable in a westerly). Dennes Pt looks pretty consistent 15+ gusting 25 knots - except that it's just dropped to 12-17 knots - DOOOH! Airport has been WNW at 15-20 knots gusting 21-30 knots from 10:30 til 1:30. Reports from the arm beaches didn't sound super promising, so I'll aim for Dorans. Will report when I get here on Whatsapp.
