Found this post and thought good for loopers in tas .
It may work for some.. head for a two foot wave cross shore and just do it,,
i can pretty much guarantee for most sailors if you have not learnt the basics then this above technique will fail- not pretty

so Dorans, the pond, learn with the downwind wymaroo style,
only way for most to learn in south tas i reckon, due to our non surf conditions
