I'm getting quite confused about life. Isn't life supposed to be about living your dreams, living life to the fullest blah blah blah. But to do this you have to make a living somehow, unless your lucky enough to win Tattslotto. So why is it that this making a living destroys ones dreams of windsurfing every day, but this living pays for the gear. Something ain't working out right here Think I'll take up lettuce growing

Work/life balance is not an easy one
option (1)
A 8 am to 4,30 pm day will see you at Dorans or the pond by 5pm ,Goats and Clifton by 5,30pm with plenty of daylight left in summer .Work gives us money for petrol , car and weekends.
Weekends can now be spent sailing at lowhead ,Marion bay ,Bruny Is,even Marrawah .Once or twice a year some work provides for holidays .
Holidays allow us to travel to really good waves ,wind or both eg. Maui,Wa ,Pozo,BOL even Mexico .this amount of sailing should have you worn out by retirement age.
Option2
Move to Maui ,WA ,Pozo, work in a restaurant at night sail every day, all day and become semi pro and be totally sailed out ,body wrecked by 35 you now have 30 plus years to work and save money before you die
Option 3
Relax , go with the flow ,work if its there ,sail when it's windy outside your front door and you have the spare time (life is just a game)

Winge about it all on Seabreeze forums. I like this option cause fellow sailors understand. Sorry I'm just really frustrated at the moment because it's my really really busy time of the year and I'm over my head in work to do. It's more frustrating because it's the really really windy time of the year. Better out than in thanks for listening

Sailed for 2 hours yesterday late afternoon at Dorans and it was absolutely terrible, gusty for a 25m run and then nothing for a few minutes, then another gust, etc., wind all over the place (just look at this http://www.ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=87058&tid=0). Felt terrible and then we all had to stand round and listen to each other moan for an hour afterwards, and then to top it off a local windsurfer, lets call him A, literally cr@pped in front of us in the car park and we all vomited - you didn't miss much.

See Kazza this is all you are missing out on at Dorans
work hard travel and you shall be rewarded with a higher fun to dollar spend ratio
Except for hitting coral atolls ouch

Sailor A thought it was better out than in or
was it a comment on the wind
