A few snapshots of a fun sail at san remo yesterday, sailed there a few times now and good fun on an in coming tide. Not proper wave riding for the purists but good for bay blasters like me.
Nice shots Captain.
Here's a few more from the same session.
(I trialled the Go Pro Deck Mount for the first time)
Nice fellas!!
Looks smoother and a smidge smaller than when we were out the other week. Looks like fun.
Big wind shadow on the San Remo side still? Or was there enough S in the wind to get out easier?
Hey Dan.
Definitely easier getting out, because there was more s in the wind.
By the time we came in though, the wind was less, so the last 100m was dodgy but sloggable.
We didn't have as good an angle into the waves as last time, but there were still some jumps to be had. You're right about the waves being a bit smaller and the water being pretty smooth.
Lots of fun!
There were 5 of us out, next time we go we will be sure to let you know.
What side do you launch from? The bay side of Cape Woolamai or San Remo?
From the San Remo side Rick.
I am keen to give that place a crack, would of sailed there on Aus day too, but the waves were just to nice at Sandy Pt to refuse them

I saw your Vid and pictures ... looked really nice at Sandy Pt, good move! Keep us posted if you head San Remo way :)
There is a spot on the Wooli side to park but no grass to rig up on.. If there is too much East at least you wouldn't get a wind shadow from this side...
Yeah rick we had a look at the car park on the iland side definitely no wind shadow but like you say rigging is poor.
I've checked it out a few times but the wind was never quite right. I'll keep trying! Great snaps boys!
Nice shots Captain.
I want one of those wrist watches where it allows you to pause and rewind the jump mid flight!
