Fellow surfers,

Am an intermediate who wants to master carving without getting completely buggered water starting every time i ditch, which is often !

I'm located in bayside, any suggestions for a bay that has fairly shallow water so easy to hop back on board ? Similar to Inverloch or Sandy point but closer ?

cheers

Rye front beach, or anywhere between Blairgowrie to Rosebud

It's a 20 know south westerly tomorrow. Great for water starting. Go to Brighton beach box beach. try the deep water. Great summer wind say 3 pm

Balnarring is shallow on the inside - you gybe in standing depth flat water. There are bouys to aid navigation in the carve also.
