Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?

We maybe lucky. If you want to ensure you have a better chance of windsurfing, you might want to get out some big boards.

Myself:
Saturday; if I'm lucky maybe a light wind sail either locally (Bonno) or at Po'okipa.
Sunday; forecast sounds a bit light for a updated temp' forecast of 40degsC. May locally for me or Inverloch if I can convince the wife to come down and have another go at windsurfing.

Refer to the extract from BOM forecast below for Port Philip Bay.

Local Waters Forecast for Port Phillip
Issued at 5:10 am EDT on Friday 28 January 2011 for the period until midnight EDT Monday 31 January 2011.

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: Southeasterly 5 to 10 knots tending south to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon then becoming light later in the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: Northeast to northerly 10 to 15 knots, tending north to northwesterly 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon before a south to southwesterly change during the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres increasing to 0.5 to 1 metres during the morning.

Please note; this is not a WV event and this post is to be used as information only. The intent of this post is for windsurfers to post where they could be going to windsurf this weekend and for other windsurfers to possible come and join them.

Sunday - possibly Bonbeach in the afternoon.

It's supposed to be hot weather - so parking is going to be a sh1t fight no matter where you go - me thinks.

Maybe Keast Park to avoid the crowding.........

(flying pig being a bic astro rock 120, straps removed, waxed up and with a small straight raked fin)

i can compete with SUPs, and its heaps of fun - if not looks a little weird !!
