Hi, I'm another one getting back into windsurfing after a 15+ year break. Been buying 2ndhand gear over the winter and I'm ready to hit the water. I live in Seaford and will sail from there or Carrum or Frankston in the long term but wanted to go somewhere that has a few other windsurfers for my big day. Just hoping I can get pointed in the right direction where there's a bunch of guys sailing. I'm thinking Inverloch or Rye but really have no idea where people sail these days. Would be great if there are people sailing close to Seaford but don't mind a drive

Come down to the Wassup club in Chelsea, there's a few of us that sail most days after work (when there's wind) Can keep your gear there, use the clubs almost-new gear and get lessons too.

I joined in September after a couple of years away from the sport, fitness has gone through the roof and I don't know how I lived without windsurfing! Best thing I ever did!

I am heading down to Invy for the Christmas break. Pm me and we can exchange numbers and I can let you know what works best on what wind direction

Wassup is fantastic. I saw a recommendation on here for Dan's tuition and finally got around to booking a lesson. Best windsurfing lesson I have had and really helped me get going again after a long break.

Exactly, it makes such a difference having him around to sort out all those little technique issues that used to hold me back. It's also nice having a big range of new gear to choose from so you don't have a crap session because you don't own the right stuff.
