Hi all,

I came across this item on e-bay, and wanted to ask for your opinion - is it suitable for a newbie that learned to stand on a board (I don't think that qualifies for surfing, anyway..) last summer but didn't do much since?

If so, what should I pay attention to?

Thank you all very much,

G.

Yes as FletcHuz says, this is an ideal board to learn on, even if you got it for $1500 thats still a very good price considering how new it is. Good luck with it mate, let us know if you get it....

Gartel,
My first board was a 165lt xcite ride. I bought it (for much more $ than that one) after learning how to stand and uphaul...you won't be dissapointed! It's still my favorite board, fast, fun and a great ride.

Light winds due this weekend, I'll have mine out with a 7.5 cammed sail, guaranteed to be blasting along!

Did you get it Gartel? If so that was an absolute bargain!!! With a board bag too!

Don't see deals that good very often!
