If You mean Warnambool then conditions that prevail are usually Westerly/ south westerly.

I've not been there to sail it but have gone on some fishing trips there. Usually cool changes predicted for Melbourne hit that part of the coast pretty early in the day.

Yeah there is a sizable bay there with a boat ramp and pier on the Western most side that basically seperates the bay from the rough weather beaten caostline. Southerlies would probably make the bay superb to run on. Westerlies depend on how much the point protects the bay.

Howdy,
I've gone out from the breakwater at Warnambool (near the yacht club) in southerlies round to westerlies. There's certainly breeze down there.
It's a bit fluky in behind the breakwater but once you get past there's a nice run into some reasonably big swell
