So Doug is the 120 the size or are you tempted to go smaller?

As for my weekend it was another frustrating one, was at Bono when the sw change came on saturday, we started to rigg 4.7 & 5.0,s expecting to give our wave boards a blast but the wind backed off and ended up on 7.0 m sails again
30 mins of sailing and it droped out all together .
Sunday was a bit better the best wind was early but made the most of the conditions that bono dished out for us.

Spoke with Luke today about board size and this is my current thinking. Please feel free to pick holes in my arguments.
I go out when I can get time off not when the conditions are right so I need to be able to sail in 10 kts - 25 kts. I was thinking that my Mistral barge(144 Ltr) with the 8.5 mtr would go well from 10 - 15 kts When the wind hits 15 kts plus then change down to the 110 ltr with a sail range of 7.2 mtr, 6.5 and 5.5 to take me through to the 25 kt.
The 120 ltr board was an easy step to take so the 110 ltr maybe more of a challenge to work on. However I have a niggling thought that maybe I am biting off too much by making a change of 144 ltr to 110 ltr??
OB64 - that is why I would love to catch up with you sometime and take up your kind offer of a ride on the Hyper 105. The short noses worry me on the starboards though?

I went to sandy pt, when I got there it at around 10:30 was 17-20 WSW but later was mainly 15-18kts and a bit shifty.
Most guys were on 6m's, daffy had a some new Koncepts out, they look really good.

I sailed later in the day around 5 as the tide was ripping in, I had a 6.6m up on my GO- I wish I took my 110 carve out + GPS. With the tide there were a few "whoopie doos" coming up the channel, they must be brutal when it is seriously windy. I love that place, I always learn something new everytime I sail there.

There was one other guy out late in the day, luckily we got his car to higher ground!

You can use that set up in 12-14knots because you only weigh 40 kg's!!!!!!

Your just jealous. But I could do with losing a few kilos of winter storage lol. Need to get out and sail a little more I think.

Sunday was great at Bono, not long after you guys left. I was on my way down when simon stopped me in the street. Then Rich rang to try out the new Futura 111 with the 7s and the wind kicked in from the SSW. We were very, very powered up for a couple of hours in to the evening. Adam came back too, still in his wetsuit.
