Very nice vid.
What was the accommodation you stayed at and how far was it to the sailing spots?

Looks like a super fun spot. Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.

Having said that might not be that pretty there ATM with hurricane Lane bearing down on the islands. I wonder what Jaws will be like?

Cheers Ma.... we actually stayed at here at this hostel in our own private room - thebeachwaikikihostel.com/

It was a 5 minute drive from Diamond Head and was relatively economical compared to everything else we could find.

Hey Manuel7,Was mainly around 15 knots.Yeah that was part of the attraction being port tack!

What is the second spot called? I've surfed Lighthouse a few times and it gets shallow.

Hey Long Reef,

That spot is called 'Toes'. Usually very light wind but it's cross off.

I thought it was Toes- that was really light!. I think all Wavesailors should pay homage to the original spot

Great vid of Toes, funny, the first shot of the beach looks like somebody derigging after breaking his mast, easy to do in shallow water with a reefy bottom, even in light wind. Also a good shot of duck diving your rig under the white water.

After talking to a friend who has sailed there (unlike myself), he said the name of the place is "Tongs" not "Toes".

There is a surf spot called 'Tongs' near Diamond Head... the spot in the video is actually 'Toes' a different place altogether.

Thanks for this great video. The videos below confirms this is called Toes. I also posted a 1983 video of Diamond Head on a different thread.
