Hey all,
I'm spending a month in WA and I want to learn to windsurf. I'm looking for about 2 weeks worth, and I'd love to hear suggestions about good spots and affordable ways to do it. I'm planning on hitting up Margaret River and Esperance while there anyway, but I don't believe I can learn to windsurf at either of these places. Happy to look at any place else.
Appreciate it

I presume you need to hire equipment to learn on.
There's Pelican point, on the Swan river with hire plus lessons available, but the weed there is horrible at the moment.
Second Wind in Attadale do lessons with hire at Melville on the southside of the Swan River and the water is much nicer there.
Safety Bay (near the Bent St boat ramp) is another good location with lessons and hire.

Important point: learners need very light wind. So if it seems windy to you, leave it for another day.

muffin, contacts so you can get on the water are.
2nd Wind for Melville and Windforce for Peli Point. Windforce gear hire van there most days, not sure about 2nd Wind if he is there all day
Safety Bay is also as indicated, a great place to learn, but not sure on who does lessons, They used to have a van there most days with lesson and hire.
